Meet the teacher:

 

Hello! My name is Miss Morton and I am the Grade 2 Teacher at Newbridge Academy. Teaching has always been a passion of mine, specifically in lower elementary. 

 

 “If you asked me what I came into this world to do, I will tell you without hesitation: I was born to be a teacher." 

 

I received my teaching degree from Acadia University and am currently working on my Masters of Education: Supporting Learners with Diverse Needs and Exceptionalities. I encourage my students to constantly seek out knowledge and to become a life long learner. As I continue my education I am constantly telling my students there is always so much more to learn! I hope to instill in my students the love and passion I have for learning on an every day basis.
